Conclusions Italy, due to its landscape conformation and thanks to widespread traces of the intense history that has characterized it, has for centuries held one of the records as a tourist destination for various types of tourism: seaside, cultural, sporting, musical… Tourism, for its part, would not be possible without an adequate supply of accommodation. The success of Italy, in fact, is also due to a large offer of accommodation that has evolved and provides ever more numerous and diversified ancillary services. Thus, hospitality, a necessary condition for tourism development, often from a tool for traveling becomes the motive for travel. It is not uncommon for some tourists to be attracted not only by the place to visit but also by the accommodation itself: super luxury hotels, signed by archistars, restaurants run by starred chefs, indoor sports facilities, wellness centes… The importance that is attributed to accommodation is, therefore, always greater. However, not everyone is looking for luxury, many are looking for authenticity. Hence the success of Albergo Diffuso , as an example of authentic and unique accommodation in our area, that deserves all the attention it needs, especially in this pandemic time.
