1078 COLLECTIVE COMMENTARY ABOUT THE NEW PACKAGE TRAVEL DIRECTIVE or a branch on the territory of the Republic of Poland, the body competent to keep the register is the marshal of the voivodeship elected by the latter. According to Article 7(1) of the A.P.T., travel organisers and traders facilitating linked travel arrangements are obliged to fulfil the following conditions: 1) to provide for travellers in the case of insolvency: (a) to cover the costs of continuing a package travel or of returning to one’s country, particularly including transport and accommodation costs, including reasonable costs incurred by travellers, when a travel organiser or a trader facilitating linked travel arrangements fails to ensure such continuation or return, contrary to the obligation, (b) reimbursement of payments made as payment for a package travel or any paid service of a trader facilitating linked travel arrangements when, for reasons attributable to the travel organiser or trader facilitating linked travel arrangements or persons acting on their behalf, the package travel or any paid service of a trader facilitating linked travel arrangements has not been or will not be carried out, (c) to reimburse a part of the payment made for a package travel corresponding to a part of the package travel or for any service paid for by a trader facilitating linked travel arrangements corresponding to a part of the service not provided or not provided for reasons attributable to the travel organiser or trader facilitating linked travel arrangements or by persons acting on their behalf; 2) to submit to the Marshal of the Voivodeship the originals or copies certified as true copies of the original by an advocate ( adwokat ), attorney-at-law ( radca prawny ) or notary, of the financial protection held, no later than 14 days before the expiry of the term of the contract or previous guarantee; travel traders ceasing their activity or suspending their activity are exempt from this obligation, if they notify the Marshal of the Voivodeship of the cessation or suspension of the activity of the travel organiser or the trader facilitating linked travel arrangements; 3) to keep a list of package travel contracts and contracts concluded by the traveller with a trader facilitating linked travel arrangements; 4) to submit in due time to the Insurance Guarantee Fund declarations including: (a) the calculation of the amount of contributions payable to the Tourist Guarantee Fund, (b) the number and type of contracts referred to in point 3 concluded in a given month and the number of travellers covered by such contracts,
