1140 COLLECTIVE COMMENTARY ABOUT THE NEW PACKAGE TRAVEL DIRECTIVE In view of the early age of “tourism law” and especially that in some EU Member States it is not even established as a branch of law and/or as a subject of study for the science of law, a detailed explanation of the provisions of the Directive would have been very welcome, as well as a greater concreteness that would not leave room for somany unknowns, resulting in different understanding and application of the Directive from one Member State to another.
