ABSTRACT : The emergence of the Internet and the development of electronic commerce have led to greater consumer autonomy in the acquisition of tourist products, both individual and combined. In this context, tour operators have been facilitating the combination of different tourist services without them forming a package travel and, therefore, without having the protection granted to consumers of these kinds of travels in Council Directive 90/314/EEC, of 13 June 1990, on package travel, package holidays and package tours. This Directive has been amended by the Directive 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council, from25November 2015, on package travel and linked travel arrangements, which have yet to be transposed to our Legal System, seeing as it faces the legal configuration of these new linked travel services or dynamic packages as a tourist product different from the package travel, and, consequently, it recognizes a protection status much lower than the one provided for the package travel.
