TOWARD A REGIONAL SUSTAINABLE TOURISM 829 By analysing data and regulations, it is therefore clear that the process towards sustainability has been well initiated by the regions, aware that this will only consolidate their critical success factors and increase their value; perhaps today more attention should be given to the action of the private sector, and rather than to the enterprises, to the traveller. Consequently, the interest of the jurist for sustainable tourism, mostly of a public nature, given the character of the regulatory measures, could be moved to the private sphere, probably affecting the issue of responsibility, professional diligence and good faith.
