10 Holiday home services – non-classified accommodation services provided in jointly managed buildings, their group or rooms, creating conditions and providing equipment for cooking and recreation. Cruise ship accommodation services – non-classified accommodation services provided on permanently docked vessels while at the same time providing conditions to meet hygiene needs. Tourist camp services – non-classifiable accommodation services, the definition of which is established in Article 2(21) of the Law on Tourism of the Republic of Lithuania, i.e. an independent service provided to tourists for a fee, where a lot for tent, camper or mobile home is rented at a tourist campsite. Non-classified accommodation is not subject to the minimum number of rooms to be accommodated. The Description of the Procedure for Issuing and Revoking the Certificate of Classification of Accommodation Services (Order No. 4-140 of the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania of 1 March 2019) establishes the procedure for issuing and revoking the certificate of accommodation services in Lithuania. The accommodation service classification certificate is a document that entitles the accommodation service provider to provide classified accommodation services and confirms the quality level of the classified accommodation services (objects) – the number of stars awarded. These certificates are issued, refused, revoked by the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Service in accordance with the procedure, terms and grounds established in Article 32 of the Law on Tourism of the Republic of Lithuania. A person wishing to obtain a classification certificate for accommodation services shall submit an application and a completed classification form in the form established by an institution authorised by the Government to the State Consumer Rights Protection Service.
