60 SUSTAINABLE TOURISM LAW D) Integration. The new law is based on the principle of integration. Integration in hospitality; Integration in services; Integration with the digital agenda. 1) Integrated hospitality: the new law favors the creation of network synergies for the creation and management of integrated tourist services (partnerships, districts). 2) Integration with regional services of excellence: for the first time, it seeks to integrate tourism services with the regional transport and healthcare system. 3) Integration with “digital tourism”: the new law coordinates with the programme of the digital agenda in Lombardy, favouring the use of a digital platform and digital services. E) Simplification and participation. It favors – perhaps for the first time in a tourist context – the use of self-discipline codes. As a general statement, the Lombardy Tourism Law pursues a “Sustainable Development” of touristic activities, as we will see. VII. PRIVATE TOURISM LAW Private Tourism Law We have seen that Tourism Law, in its interdisciplinary structure, covers Public and Private Law. It’s time to examine how tourism has interfered with general private law 42 . Tourism has created new contracts, new torts and new institutes. Tourism has modified traditional juridical institutes in various sections of private law. A new typical contract: Tourist Travel Contract Private autonomy is thus completely included in Tourism Law by creating a new typical contract, or, if you prefer, typified: the “Tourist Travel Contract”. The tourist travel contract constitutes, in its present regulation, the point of arrival of the evolution of tourism contracts, aimed at defending the consumer traveller. On this new contract, widespread in everyday life and practice, the doctrine has made important contributions, reaching a satisfactory definition. 42 In an Australian perspective, see Antony J.
