Wine Law

Law 6/2013, of 14 November, repealing partially Law 8/2003 and totally Law 11/1999, of 26 May, by which the Geographical Indication of Wines of the Land of Castilla is created (BOE no. 35, of 10 February 2014). Royal Decree 19/2014, of 17 January, approves the bylaws and combines the independent bodies the National Consumer Affairs Institute and the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition in a new independent body called the Spanish Agency for Consumer Affairs, Food Safety and Nutrition and its statute is approved (BOE no. 29, of 3 February 2014). Law 4/2015, of 23 March, of protection of the quality of the vineyard and the wine of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja (BOE no. 90, of 15 April 2015). Law 6/2015, of 12 May, on Designations of Origin and Protected Geographical Indications of supra-autonomous territorial scope (BOE no. 114, of 13 May 2015). Law 1/2017, of 3 January, on the control of viticultural potential in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja (BOE no. 17, of 20 January 2017). Royal Decree 267/2017, of 17 March, by which the Law is 6/2015, of 12 May, of Designations of Origin and Protected Geographical Indications of supra-autonomous territorial scope, is developed, and by which Law 12/2013, of 2 August, of measures to improve the functioning of the food chain is developed (BOE no. 66, of 18 March 2017). Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/273 of 11 December 2017 supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the scheme of authorisations for vine plantings, the vineyard register, accompanying documents and certification, the inward and outward register, compulsory declarations, notifications and publication of notified information, and supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the relevant checks and penalties, amending Commission Regulations (EC) No 555/2008, (EC) No 606/2009 and (EC) No 607/2009 and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 436/2009 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/560 (DOUE L 58/1, of 28 February 2018).
