The Ministry of Tourism of the Province of Mendoza reports that wine visitors spend 20%more than average tourists who visit the city or who do only outdoor activities, according to the time of the year 27 . It´d be noted that the Mendoza Province – which annually produces at least ten million hectoliters of wine- was chosen by the UNWTO to become the prototype for the New World Wine 28 , which will be used as an application guideline for those destinations that are interested in working in the segment of winery tourism, which is being consolidated at a worldwide level as an attractive option for tourists when they choose a destination for their holidays, with an axis of experiences that may last from three to four days. Visits to wineries, olive growing farms areas, museums, and markets, as well as other places, are part of the different tourist programs that are supplemented with other identifying features of Mendoza, -great products such as the dried fruits, the olive oil, the apricot, or the quinces, all of them as a touristic offering of the Province linked to wine, gastronomy and the culture, giving special importance to smaller manufacturers and Tourist Service Providers. III. The Post-Pandemic Era: What Can Be Expected from the Wine Tourism?
